For some of us, making progress with certain things is very difficult. These “things” can be school, work, relationships, and so on. Failing to move forward is definitely frustrating, but you can use some simple tips to make things easier.
“Progress, not perfection” is a popular saying, and it really sends a good message. You don’t have to be perfect at what you are doing. In fact, you may have trouble progressing if you are too hard on yourself. Baby steps are okay!
Consider setting specific goals for yourself in the areas you want to progress in. For example, say you’re like me and you want to start saving more money. Start putting 10% of your paycheck into savings every time you get paid. You can build up from there and boost your financial stability.
Lastly, look for resources that can help you move forward. Got problems with family and relationships? Talk to a therapist together to sort things out. Struggling with work? Read a blog or two about how to succeed in any type of workplace. These resources are an excellent way to make progress in any area of your life.
